Beastttt Posted January 1, 2010 Share Posted January 1, 2010 I'm getting a message that I have more up to date drivers already and the installer will abort that part of the install but it has been over 10 min that it has been saying this should I cancel it or just wait it out? Schrullenhaft Posted January 1, 2010 Share Posted January 1, 2010 I guess 'cancel' the PhysX install at this point if it has hung for 10 minutes. You can also Ctrl-Alt-Del and look in the Task Manager to see the status of the install. If it says "Not Responding", then definitely cancel it at this point. The latest PhysX installer (9.09.1112). snuffy Posted November 15, 2014 Share Posted November 15, 2014 I am having this issue, I can not install the game completely from this point. I have uninstalled all my nVidia stuff and wiped my system and tried to install without the previous drivers and the game still finds the previous physx somehow and ends the installation. I have not gotten beyond this point. I am still sucking hind tit by running XP Pro ... So what's the true solution to this? Thanks. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Schrullenhaft Posted November 18, 2014 Share Posted November 18, 2014 I'm not sure what the 'true solution' is to this problem. I suggest canceling the install ('killing it' within Task Manager) and then downloading the latest PhysX installer and install that. I assume that the game itself has been installed by the time you get to the PhysX install, so terminating the install at that point shouldn't corrupt the game install to my knowledge.
