Patrocles
NPR ran a cool 3-part story about two secret programs ran by the U.S. at Fort Hunt, VA during WW2. One of the programs was an interrogation camp of German POWs (top officers and scientists). MIS-X was a program to get materials to Allied POWs to help them escape and evade capture (great stuff like radios hidden in cribbage boards, souvenirs with secret compartments containing maps, compasses, wire cutters, etc.) You can find the 3-part radio program and accompanying text here: http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=93635950
John Kettler
Patrocles, Danke mucho for this! Fort Hunt has another major piece of secret history attached to it, one that's messing us up to this day.
