Most wargamers will probably murder me in my sleep for saying this, but what Steam? Have you heard of game called AI War? This guy made this game with a few friends, put it on Steam and was soon selling thousands of copies. He actually got to the point that he now pays his own salary just on that one game. He was even able to release an expansion to sweeten the deal.

Hi Brit....My computer just died so that's why I was gone for awhile, but new laptop is here and I'm back to playing. Now, I go to ALLOT of forums and the one of the most main things that keeps them from buying the games is the DRM. I can't tell you how many times I've heard "I don't buy from Battlefront.com anymore because of the new DRM." I know taking off the DRM is not an option(I haven't had any problem with it, so far.), but I'm just telling what I observe. Strategy games niche by itself, let alone this type of game. More advertising wouldn't hurt either. Just my $.02

Brit, thanks alot for listening to our concerns. Not allot of devs do that. All we are trying to say is, that there is no reason an AI shouldn't ally with you when you have 90+ relations, and offering free oil on the side AS WELL as the Alliance.

Heck, I can't even get an alliance with an AI that is at 90 relations with me.

I'm loving the game, just a few observations. I noticed that the AI never groups it's armies. By that I mean that AI always sends of hordes of single tank units instead of placing all together into one unit. It makes the map feel cluttered, especially when you are having a full land border match with the AI when we both have huge armies. I would like to see the be able to group into organized armies.

Here's a few screenshots of my current game: Firstly, I pretty much own North and South America, except for Alaska because the Germans got there first.....grrr. I have 3 carriers, 6 Battleships, 5 Cruisers and 2 Destroyers. My Airforce is fairly large and I have plenty of garrisons all over the empire in case of attack. I believe about 5 or 6 AIs have already been defeated, 2 of which by me from my conquest for the Americas.With this game, you really start to see the importance of holding the Panama Canal as it's pretty much the only link between the Pacific and Atlantic and it's vital for your navy. BTW, I'm using the 1940-only rules in this game. Here is my huge invasion force. I will use Auckland as a staging base for my assault on Australia. In fact, One of those transports you see in the picture is actually full of bombers, not troops. My navy provide bombardment support using a mix of Battleships, Cruisers, and Aircraft from the carrier currently in this theatre.

Great game so far. The World Map is a blast. I've had some good battles fighting over Panama and Mexico City. You guys should advertise or something more so we can grow the community, because although this is a great game I think the community for this game is still a bit small. Hopefully it grows.

I want to buy this, but it says the store is down. Any news on when the store will be back up? EDIT: I found some info. On the home page news it said the store should be back "late" today. Well it's 8 o clock here(West Coast) so how "late" are we talking?

Great game, plenty of replayability, decent price.This is definitely a keeper. Please release this soon, this is definitely on my Birthday/Christmas list.

I agree, in the demo I found it annoying that I had to build alot of ships, as well as build an army at the same time.Especially since early in the game you only have like 2 or 3 cities at the most.Ships take like 20 turns to build so it took forever just to build a stupid transport, let alone real combat ships.

First time poster, long time lurker. I have to say I really enjoyed the demo of this game.Any status on when will this finally will be released?Any indication on price?
