Hi there!

Which operating system do you have? And which drivers for GeForce?

My system is AMD Athlon 1,2 Ghz, 384 Mb ram and GeForce2 32 mb. I had some serious problems when I started to hassle with drivers and DiretX settings. At that time I used Windows 98. I got frustrated and bought more memory and changed to Windows XP, now everything runs fine!

Maybe you should do a search (for example keyword "GeForce"), then you find info about the drivers.

You should notice that my knowledge in technical issues is very limited. You will get more advanced answers from experts, these are only my experiences.

English is not my native languege either.. smile.gif

I think your system will be suitable so start playing now!

If you have any problems (lock-ups or something), post here. And it is always a good idea to do "search" before posting.

As I mentioned earlier, I have a slower PC than you and both games run very well.

BTW if you want to play by e-mail sometime in the future, feel free to post erkonposti@sunpoint.net

nVidia's "Detonator" drivers, version 30.82 or 30.87 should work; if you encounter problems with unreadable / missing text with full-screen anti-aliasing on (FSAA), you may want to snag one of those versions.

A P4 1.5GHz is more than sufficient for most battles. "To the Volga" will be an exception, but because of its immense number of units, you'd have to spend a **LOT** of money to get a machine that could play it snappy.

A GF2 32MB -- *shrug* don't expect super-smooth scrolling amidst all the lovely explosions ala a flight sim, and you may not want to use maximum trees, but it should be quite playable.
