thejetset
I just want to let everyone know about a pretty cool tool for doing PBEM battles. There are a couple of different sights out there. The two I know about are dropbox and box.net. I'm participating in a campaign right now with a total of 14 players. Instead of everyone emailing files to each other which generates a lot of "Whoops, I didn't get the email." ... or "What turn are we in??" types of comments ... we are all uploading the files into box.net (in this case ... like I said, there are several different sites besides just box.net ... team BF, I am in NO WAY affiliated with box.net ... I just want to let the community know about this tool to improve the overall CM experience) The advantage of this is that you can see the entire history of the files that are related to your battle in one place. Also, you can see if your opponent has viewed or downloaded the file. Plus, you can make comments to each other. Also, email notifications are sent each time a file is uploaded. .... it makes the PBEM experience A LOT easier. ..... finally, you have the entire file history stored in the cloud for easily compiling any AAR reports. Just thought I would throw that out there for the community. Have fun!!!!
