Freedom through the Internet

Recommended Posts

I am getting a little peeved about commercial organisations requiring you to join Twitter. So:

"Whilst you may find Twitter wonderful the chances of me signing up to an American company who routinely provides the security services with information under the Patriot Act are zero. One is left wondering what would have happened if the incumbent power had rode out the storm and then asked for details of Egyptian tweeters. "

You can imagine it. Court case and all the info spilled over 'cos its Twitter policy.

And just in case you think you know what the Patriot Act covers - you don't
