gibsonm
On Mac or Windows? Win XP or Win 7? Win 7 32 bit or 64? They need some details if you expect any chance of them being able to fix it for you.
PondScum
Closing the Gap and Busting the Bocage lock up 3-4 minutes into gameplay and always during a pause. After the lockup, wait a while (give it 2 minutes) and see if it finally exits with an error message. My hunch is that you'll see one saying "Your graphics hardware is out of memory!", and then listing options to fix it (reduce desktop resolution, select fastest 3D texture quality, turn off antialiasing). I'm trying to fix the same problem, and the options listed haven't helped so far. Next thing is to update graphics drivers. My system: Lenovo Thinkpad W500, Core 2 Duo P9600, 4 GB DRAM, ATI Mobility FireGL V5700 with 512 MB VRAM, running Win 7 32-bit.
PondScum
Just as a follow-up: reducing my resolution from 1680x1050 to 1280x800 seems to have fixed it for me. I can now finish a whole game without a crash.
dave146
Hi Spaz, Yep there's definitely a bug or two with that particular level (or all of the larger levels). There doesn't appear to be a fix for it yet, but hopefully Battlefront will get a patch out for the Demo and full game sometime soon.
