SelfLoadingRifle
I am currently working on Kip's scenario, which is set in May, 1981. A large proportion of the infantry he includes are armed with AK 74s, which (of course) are chambered in 5.45mm calibre. Unfortunately the spare assault rifle ammo carried in the accompanying BTR60 PBs is 7.62mm x39. This is fine if you are toting something like an AK47 or AKM, but obviously not so fine if you are the proud possessor of an AK74. PLEASE, PLEASE LOOK AT THIS IN THE FORTHCOMING PATCH. Just a point but, when did the AK 74 come into widespread service? I didn't think it was that early. Perhaps a Russian military member of this forum could advise? SelfLoadingRifle
Correction: The APCs carrying the AK74 armed troops are BTR 70s. Well it's getting late!! SLR
