Highlander
I can hear background noises fine, gunfire and explosions, and tanks moving, but the voices are all garbled and muted. Didn't have any of these problems with the demo. If I play the wav files in the folder they sound fine. I am using the 1.01 patch. Guest Big Time Software
What version of DirectX are you using? Be sure it's the latest (v7.0a). Also check your DirectX/DirectSound control panel and see if any adjustments there help. Also, you should make sure your sound card drivers are up to date. The demo used 22KHz sound to save space. The full game uses 44KHz (CD-quality). It sounds like something in DirectX and/or your sound card driver isn't happy with that. Highlander
I was running DirectX 6. Downloaded 7.0a and installed. Works fine now. Thanks. Scott
