lucero1148
I just installed the public beta and tried connecting by typing in the opponents ip address but I keep getting an error message saying that "I can't connect to the specified address". What's up? I'm on a beige G3. Another question re. the Open Play Module and the OpenPlayLib, according to the Read Me note they are to reside in the CMBO folder, but they look like extensions to go into the extensions folder. So is it correct to let the items above sit in the CMBO folder? Best Patrick
Guest Madmatt
Inside your CMBO folder is there a OpenPlay Modules FOLDER? There needs to be otherwise it won't work. You need to move the files AND folders from the patch (as they are) into your CMBO folder. BlackVoid
Try to ping the IP address you are trying to connect to. If it does not work, the problem is not with CM. I know this sounds stupid, but I had this problem several times. Resetting both host and client helped the problem.
