How is the "occupy" objective calculated?

Recommended Posts

I was testing through the AI plans i'd made on this scenario, no blue forces on the map at all.

The red Have 3 occupy objectives here. The red side got 0 points for any of these objectives. Most units were conscripts but there were greens and regs in there aswell i think.

The objectives are the buildings in these shots

In this one it is only a spy that is inside the objective itself.

The mosque is the objective here

I don't actually see any Occupy objectives painted on your map in your screenshots. I can see Phase Line Bravo and other PRESERVE objectives with the white text so the Objectives are actually been displayed. Perhaps you have them as BLUE Terrain parameters and not RED? If you want the two sides to fight for control of a particular objective you have to paint it as both RED and BLUE terrain objectives. Otherwise, the side with no 'paint' will be fighting to deprive the other side of their points.

I suspect you'll find that you have failed to assign RED these objectives in the scenario editor.

I played this through as blue, in scenario author mode. Yes the terrain objectives are for the red side and (set up in the Terrain (red) section) and are only visible to the red side, hence why the objectives don't show up.

I think the problem is caused by the units being mainly conscripts, when ive run it through since some of the terrain objectives are held by the red side when roughly the same number of men but most greens/regulars. The blue terrain objectives work fine. Sorry if i wasn't clear :)
