Hundminen Posted January 28, 2001 Share Posted January 28, 2001 I periodically will start a new game with the command box at the bottom of the screen is black only with a little bit of white text representing only the unit data and so on. The actual colored graphics are completely missing, as are the words beside the pop-up command boxes. This happens periodically, ever since I loaded v1.1. I have no mods loaded. Guest Madmatt Posted January 29, 2001 Share Posted January 29, 2001 There were no changes to the graphics code at all between v1.05 and 1.1. Are you certain you made no other changes to your system around the same time as you installed the game? Any issue revolving around missing graphics normally points at a problem with the installed video drivers so I would start there. Check to see if there are more current drivers for your ATI video card available and if so install them and see what happens.
