grunt8541 Posted November 18, 2003 Share Posted November 18, 2003 I just recently purchased CMBO special addition and saw that they have included several mods with it, These are all contained in zip files on the cd. I am computer stupid so wat I need to know is how to get these awesome mods into the game so I can start enjoying them. But I need a patient soul to walk me through it. Darius359au Posted November 18, 2003 Share Posted November 18, 2003 You need to read the "MODS" link that gets installed on the desktop with the game but the simple way is to unzip the mods to the BMP folder in the CMBO directory , the problem is some of the MODs are multi option with batch files to allow you to swap around the mods.The best thing to do is install the non batched mods and then goto http://www.combatmission.com/ and download CMMOS 4.03 and all the CMBO mods on the site.CMMOS is a great little program that allows you to install all the mods then chose between the ones you want , this includes vehicles , grass , trees sky etc without haveing to keep reinstalling mods over the top of each other. Several mods (terrain, vehicle, and uniform) really do enhance the visual and audio aspect of the game. They cannot and will not change the way the game works however.
