zwobot
Is there a way (command line parameter or such) to start Shock Force in windowed mode? The reason I ask is because CMSF always crashes when I try to alt-tab back and forth to the windows desktop when CMSF is in 3d world (playing a scenario). Alt-tabbing usually works in the main menus/scenario editor.
Madmatt
No, window mode is not supported. Its rare that an OpenGl game works in a window by and large anyway. Madmatt
zwobot
That's a pity. Can you tell me why the game crashes when I try to alt-tab back into it from the desktop? My rig: Intel centrino 1,7 GHz Ati x700 mobile graphics card 1024 Mb RAM And I use CMSF v1.04 of course
Madmatt
More than likely because your video card doesn't really have properly OpenGL drivers (none of the ATI mobility chipsets do) but you might want to try whats mentioned on this page. It's a fix for Theatre of War (also a OpenGL game)that allows you to use the latest Catalyst drivers on these Mobility chipsets but it could allow CMSF to run better. http://www.driverheaven.net/modtool/ Madmatt
