Sabot6 Posted August 26, 2007 Share Posted August 26, 2007 I'm in the very fortunate position of being able to replace my PC, and was wondering what recommendations folks might have to get the best experience with CM:SF (e.g., XP & not Vista; Intel & not AMD)? If I can swing it, should I go with a multiple processor, dual core system, and what is the best graphics package to get? Other thoughts? Cougar_DK Posted August 26, 2007 Share Posted August 26, 2007 Right now CMSF runs way better on my old gaming rig, an AMD XP 2800 with 768mb of ram. A Ati 9800 Pro 256 with Creative X-Fi sound Card and running XP Pro SP2. My newer pc is an AMD XP 64 4400+ Dual Core with 2gb of Ram. A Nvidia 8800 GTS 640 OC2 and its also running XP Pro SP2.
