gravburg Posted August 3, 2007 Share Posted August 3, 2007 Hi, During the CMx1 games I made liberal use of the tab key to center my screen on my unit when in the top down mode. Or to put my screen just slightly behind my unit so I could see it fire and also where it was shooting. From what I can tell the tab key puts my unit offscreen. I miss the old way. Is there a way to change this that I am unaware of? This game is tougher for me to play since my laptop doesn't have a mousewheel or a numeric keypad. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Madmatt Posted August 3, 2007 Share Posted August 3, 2007 I miss the old way too and its on the list of UI improvements we would like to incorporate in the future. What I do to mimic the old behavior is select my unit, click Tab to lock him up, and then immediately use one of the lower camera preset views (keys 1-3) which drops me down low enough to see my guys.
