Can't use acquire command in deployment section of Scenario Editor

According to page 119 of the manual it should be possible to use the acquire command when deploying forces in the Scenario editor - however, I've just tried it with a Stryker squad and the option didn't appear.

This is on the 1.01 version from Gamersgate.
