While I have no problem with running TOW, it has developed the annoying quirk or doubling up on the sound effects. Or to put it another way the game has developed a stutter. The problem is most noticeable in speech, which is either repeated or is corrupted. Another example is bolt action rifles always fire twice. I am running TOW on 3.0GHz Intel Chip, 1 GB Ram ,GF 6600 Video Card (latest drivers) and Windows XP Professional Service pack 2. Sound is provided via an On-Board RealTek chip set (running ALC880 Codec and Driver Version 5.10.0.5559). Does anyone have any suggestions?
