vista 64&battle generator

hi guys,

i understand that this:

"Vista Compatibility:

Windows Vista is not officially supported in Theatre of War, however the 32 bit version of Vista does seem to run the game. The 64 bit version of Vista however will NOT run the Mission-Campaign Editor nor will it run the Battle Generator program.",

is so.

but, is there any way to make this work in the future and if what does it take, vista service pack 1 or 2 or what ever?
