Imperialwolf Posted February 3, 2008 Share Posted February 3, 2008 Hello, i have hit a bit of a problem, as i am unable to Start the Battle Generator or the Editor.Everything else works fine, this is from a new install of the Battlefront download with the uber patch installed. The error message is the standard and unhelpful "Battle Generator has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience." The mission editor used to work, so not sure whats going on here any ideas as to the cause of this issue? running on XP Home,3800 X2 3g memory 8800 GTS Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Madmatt Posted February 5, 2008 Share Posted February 5, 2008 Try and reinstall .Net Framework 2.0 and see if that does the trick. You can either download it again from Microsoft directly or use the installer thats in your TOW game directory under the .Net Framework folder. Imperialwolf Posted February 5, 2008 Author Share Posted February 5, 2008 Thanks MadMatt, i would have been a bit stuck without your advice,.Net Framework 2.0 had tied itself in knots and uninstalling it was a bit of a problem.Still all sorted now and proper customer care brings its own rewards, if only because i will buy other products from battlefront knowing i will be properly supported.
