dez1
After installing the patch I am having a slowdown or low frame rate after I configure with auto detect. I lowered the following. Shadows – none / water detail – medium / grass detail – none / trees – medium / high sky detail – off / enable eax off. Now it runs fine but don’t look so good, any tips? Plus, and this is strange, when closing the game I get a critical error sound. ------------------------- Operating System: Windows XP Professional (5.1, Build 2600) Service Pack 2 (2600.xpsp_sp2_gdr.070227-2254) System Manufacturer: iQon.ie System Model: 8S661FXM-775 BIOS: rev 1.1 Processor: Intel® Pentium® 4 CPU 3.00GHz (2 CPUs) Memory: 1024MB RAM Page File: 356MB used, 3638MB available Windows Dir: C:\WINDOWS DirectX Version: DirectX 9.0c (4.09.0000.0904) DX Setup Parameters: Not found DxDiag Version: 5.03.2600.2180 32bit Unicode Card name: Sapphire RADEON X1600 PRO Manufacturer: ATI Technologies Inc. dez1
Disregard above, the game has slowed down even more (with all graphics turned down) just like it was before the patch; I’ve got to be missing something here. Help needed please.
