Speed problems?

Recommended Posts

recap:

Make sure you are using the latest drivers from nvidia or ati.

ATI http://ati.amd.com/support/driver.html you want the 7.3

Nvidia www.nvidia.com or www.guru3d.com. I am using the 101 version for Vista.

Make sure you have the hardware acceration turned up all the way for the video card.

Make sure you do NOT have it set to multi-threaded in the NVidia control panel if you have a Nvidia card.

Make sure you run tow setup and set the game to use 1 processor if you still have a problem.

Also try a lower resolution to see if the problem is still occurring.

If running in Vista with UAL on, run the game [and full game install] as admin.

Using a mac and the video is upside down do the following:

In file ww.ini change state "true" on state "false". It’s in line - "changeScreenRes".

The thing is, that game will run in resolution used by your desktop. (Thanks Anka)

Turn off EAX in the tow setup if you sound card does not support it. It helps load times and frame rates.

Make sure you are not running other applications or programs at the same time.

More as we find solutions.
