Zion Posted October 12, 2002 Share Posted October 12, 2002 Hi, i got CMBB like a week ago, and always i tried to play, like 15 min after i begun, my computer locked up... no ALT-DEL, no nothing. Well, i tried switching drivers, wich im really good by now , but nothing at all. UT2003 run flawlessly as well as all other games i have. Well, las night, in mi anger, i went to see the managemente of virtual memory of windows, as i always do i had it set manually to 500-900 mb. I decided to switch it to automatic so windows manages de size of it, and vuala, no more locks in CMBB. I switch everything on, with AA 4* so i could stress de computer and nothing, the game runs smooth as silk. So try that... maybe it will work for you too. Lempereur Posted October 13, 2002 Share Posted October 13, 2002 I have had the same lockup problems. The whole machine freezes. It only happened when I was playing tcp/ip at this point.
