bruce90 Posted June 8, 2007 Share Posted June 8, 2007 In the Mission Editor I find I'm having a problem linking detachment units to detachment placeholders.I put in a unit then a detachment placeholder and so on but when I open the game I discover that some of the units have somehow swapped placeholders and are not where I want them.Anyone else found this or am I doing something wrong? bruce90 Posted June 8, 2007 Author Share Posted June 8, 2007 War Raven,yes I have all of the tutorials that Webwing posted and I have seen the first two and followed his advice in them and as far as I know I 'm doing exactly what he said.Perhaps there's more on detachment units and detachment placeholders in his other tutorials .I'll check them out.Thanks for your answer. rofl Posted June 8, 2007 Share Posted June 8, 2007 I'm not sure but maybe it's randomized wich placeholder they use if you have more then one squad. An easy solution to avoid wrong placed units: add a new friendly army for all your units wich you wanna place on special points and let em change the army on missionbeginn, no more placeholders needet Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
