pcelt
My first experience with N'vidia drivers and Geforce. I am thinking of upgrading from 41.09 to the new 44.03. Is use of the conventional "Remove" programme effective on its own or should i also use some special removal programme for 41.09 to ensure a clean install for 44.03-----if so could someone recommend a reliable prog. for this purpose. Many thanks
1st Shirt
What I've found that works for me (after numerous trial and error) is to use the "Add or Remove Programs" option found in Control Panel to remove the old drivers, then delete any NVIDIA folders remaining. Reboot. Make sure you cancel any Windows attempts to automatically install the new drivers, you want to install the new drivers manually, then reboot and adjust your settings as you see fit.
