Darkmath
Another thread about commands. In the Demo, I tried to put a face command to a vehicle unit after selecting the last waypoint move, to recreate CMX1 rotate commands as indicated some posters here in another threads. But the vehicle always manage to have a curved trajectory to the waypoint in order to face waypoint. Is there any way to rotate the vehicle once he went to its waypoint? Another command I really miss is shoot and scoot. Is there any way to recreate an equivalent movement, with pausing a reverse move for example? I mean it's essential for tank battle!
John Catsack
Well, as far as shoot and scoot, most vehicles can shoot on the move better than the old WW2 tanks, so I haven't been missing it. Also, I play mostly RT. I'll try and test some things and see about replicating shoot and scoot.

Works great for pauses enroute as well by selecting mid-course waypoints and THEN giving the pause command! This is a feature that a whole lot of people could only dream of in the CMx1 days!
Darkmath
Unfortunately, I tried this in the demo but it doesn't have the effect expected. Maybe is it just a demo bug?
