SmithyG
Will the civilian traffic/density levels decrease as the fighting begins? It wouldnt make much sense for a scenario to start with a high civilian density and have it remain high after combat begins. If it is dynamic, is there any indicator in the HUD to tell us the level of civi traffic? We know there are a couple different IEDs, but do we have any options in how they're concealed and detonated? It would be nice to have a difference between hastily placed (easy to spot) and buried IEDs. Detonation wise it would make sense to have wire detonated bombs require the trigger to be within a minimal distance and for cell/radio detonated bombs to have random delays with higher failure rates. rune
For the lobsters... Are you referring to the South African Rock lobster or the Northern Atlantic Lobster? Civilian density does nto change over the course of a battle, usually 1.5 hours or less. Yes, there are different types of IEDs, and yess, the trigger position MUST be taken into account. SmithyG
Thanks for the quick answeres. I'm referring to the Lobster Nebula Space Lobster. Are there any penalties for using RPG/AT4s from confined spaces? How about placing ATGMs ontop or inside of buildings?
Holman
You've got it backwards. SL's are attracted to IED's. IED's put them straight into Pon Farr. I for one hope that the graphic modelling show some decency and restraint in this area.
rune
Perhaps you mean the giant lobsters that mutated due to the fall of skylab. Evidence can be seen here . Yes, ATGM can be placed on roofs, or inside. Not sure on the AT4 question. Rune
SmithyG
Great, another forum full of "internet experts" on Space Lobsters. Now, I dont want to get into a Space Lobster argument as they all end the same way, but let me just say that my ex-girlfriends stepfathers best friend was a Space Lobster. So I think I know what i'm talking about here. Ok, how about... VBEDs. Will VBEDs be detectable if they arnt occupied by a driver? Can they be detonated by friendly small arms fire? Can anyone drive the VBEDs? I'm really looking forward to the Red vs Red scenarios.
