beetroot
Having just been completely wiped out by the computer in this scenario, the question springs to mind: are some scenarios easier than others. My poor Cromwell tanks get whacked the minute they attempt to line up a Panzer IV. Obviously there is a skill here that I don't possess. Is there a guide book for Beyond Overlord?
Dressler
Without a doubt some are easier than others. Don't feel bad though, I got my butt handed to me on that scenario too the first time I played it. I think that's the general idea for that one.
Stumpff
Just a note for future battles. If you are playing allied, never EVER send your tanks to go head on head with jerry tanks or you WILL get your rear handed to you, your best bet is to flank them as best you can, and use the terrain to your advantage.
Franko
As the designer of the scenario, I can safely say that the title says it all. The quote was taken from Captain Winters -- E Company got worked that day (this battle was also all featured in the Band of Brothers HBO series, but that came after I designed it). Its possible to win, however. Here's a hint: Textbook Fire and Maneuver drill (and use point men). Frank
