Solution: How to invert the Y-axis with Saitek X52

Recommended Posts

After two days of nagging to Saitek and fighting this game instead of the Croats, I solved the problem myself. I can't believe no-one thought of this:

 1. Disable joystick support from T-72 with the configuration tool (Battlefront --> T-72 --> Configuration --> Realism --> Joystick Off --> YES)
 2. Open Saitek Profile Editor and assign Y-axis --> Bands
 3. Split the band in three 0 - 48%, 49-51% and 52 -100%.
 4. Assign Arrow UP button to the lowest band and Arrow DOWN button to the highest band. Leave the 4% middle section as a dead zone.
 5. Do the same to X-axis and left/right arrow buttons so you can traverse the turret and steer the tank.
