-OOPSIE-
I'm playing the demo. The enemy fired a shell. Just as it hit I fired a missile. The enemies shell killed my commander and damaged the transmition and this was enough for my crew to bail out. But by some amazing fluke my missile still hit the enemy tank, right in the turret ring and killed their entire crew. Anyway. That got me thinking, what determines if the crew leaves the tank? I've lost crewmen in the past, and had a lot more damage than just transmition without them getting out of my tank. It just seems strange that the crew should leave an almost a tank thats almost totaly functional sometimes and yet stay on till the bitter end in a barely functional tank at another time. Is it random and any damage could make my crew lose their nerve? Is it semi-random with certain things giving a certain chance of my crew leaving, or are there some rules that determine this, that I just haven't worked out?
Filip von Izabelin
I would call it the "brain & guts syndrome", to be precise, when your tank stops, metal armour shears, and the brain/guts of your commander/crewmate plaster you, you might encoureged by some unknown psychological infulence, to abandon ship:P
