ziggy Posted January 13, 2001 Share Posted January 13, 2001 A while back I posted about a game lockup/freeze problem I was experiencing with Move It or Lose it ! scenario. AFter having installed ver 1.1, I tried playing the South of Sword scenario and sure enough the game locked up on me again. Since I was running nVidia whql drivers 6.31, I thought that I was safe. Well, I decided to uninstall the Leadtek WinFox uitlity and 6.31 drivers and reinstall Leadtek 6.27 drivers. Well, after I reinstalled Leadtek 6.27 drivers, I played SOuth of Sword and most of the Move It or Lose it scenario with no lockups. The moral of the story is that not all Geforce cards play well with nVidia reference drivers and some games/products. If all else fails, repalce nVidia drivers with Geforce vendor specific drivers even if they are not the latest version. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
