WhiteHIll
I'm not certain where to direct this but I received CM today and when I tried to install it I got the following message: "Please insert disk0 that contains data3.cab" There does not appear to be a data3.cab on the CD (there is a data1.cab and data2.cab (which shows as 1k, incidentally) but no data3.cab). My son has been looking forward to receiving this present and is now is quite disappointed that we couldn't even load it. May I have your suggestions ASAP. Thank you.
Guest Rob/1
Can you play right off the CM CD? or do yyou get an error message?
brooktrout
Worth a try...go to your C:\Windows\Temp folder and delete all of the files in it. When you install software, the cab files contain the compressed software files and are temporarily extracted to your temp dir. These files do not always get removed from your temp dir, especially when a previous install is aborted.

It gives an error saying I need to install to hard drive. I will try an alternate install suggested by Madmatt. Thanks again.

WhiteHIll
Thanks Madmatt. CD was clean and still would not install -- stops at 3-5% looking for data3.cab -- but your suggested alternate install worked just fine. Thanks for the very quick response -- it made my son's day!
