Mistura Posted October 3, 2005 Share Posted October 3, 2005 Hi all. I was wondering if Intercept missions are going to be played online. I think it would be cool to be able to stop your online friends from getting to "The Target". Plus to be able to play against the AI online. I think the Leader Board: Most Kills/Mission and Most XP/Mission should be for 3 plus missions flown. That way you get a better true average for scores. I see to many people that just had 1 good or (Lucky) mission and that all that pilot fly's for the week. The 1 mission a week pilots are just SCARED. Just my 2 cents. The way to do it is to have the guy who's escorting the bombers start an "Escort" mission The reason why you cannot play Intercepts online against the AI is that they are a little unbalanced. The AI already is weaker than an experienced human opponent, and being an escort creates an additional disadvantage. I just need more players to get the full game. I want the 1 mission a week guys to play at least 3 games to have there scores counted for Most Kills/Mission, and Most XP/Mission. To me if you only have flown 1 mission and have the high score that's just lame. That's like you do all the work, and someone else gets the credit. Keep up the good work guys. bartbert Posted October 3, 2005 Share Posted October 3, 2005 Well, how about this for a solution that I could implement quickly: "Most Kills per Mission" and "Most XP per Mission" are calculated by taking the total number of Kills or XP (respectively), and dividing them by 3 or the total number of missions flown, whichever is higher. So whether you have flown 1, 2, or 3 missions, your score will be divided by 3. If you have flown more than 3 missions, your score will be divided by the number of missions flown.
