Canon
Thanks. You won't believe how long I spent getting a whitewash look I was happy with. I'm still working on improving it Joe
tracer
I noticed that some of the Pz and vehicle mods (gray ones), seem harder to white wash and make it look right
Canon
Posted by Tracer... I noticed that some of the Pz and vehicle mods (gray ones), seem harder to white wash and make it look right That's very true. Some seem to 'take' the paint better, and others give either a really flat or really pixellated appearance. Oh well...just encourages me to try harder! tracer
I wonder why though?? It seems that the tigers and panthers have more of a "3d" look to them, then the PzIIIs,it's almost as if there was more time put into the Panthers, Tigers, and PzIv,models then the PzIII series. I'm actually working on a winter PzIIIG now, and I'm trying out a technique to make it look more 3D Joe
BulletRat
Ummmmm excude me if I'm a tad ignorant - but don't those halftracks have a grille at the front there? That being said, very good job!

That being said, very good job! I don't recall seeing any Sdkfz 251 with a grille, although IIRC halftracks like the Sdkfz 7 did. Copy and paste this link into your address bar for a picture of a Sdkfz 251, without a grille Joe http://www.chez.com/mythicpanzers/Images/Kampfw agens/03-Sd.Kfz.251-Serien/25-Mittlere-Schutzenpanzerwagen_Sd.Kfz.251_Ausf.D.jpg [ December 28, 2002, 09:09 AM: Message edited by: Canon ]
