David Stone
Yes, this on has been there a while, but I would genuinely like some feedback- so I could make any needed changes. Bocage fight. US 2600 pt. Fallschirmjaeger 2000 pts. No air. Light artillery. Diagonal styled map & axis of attack. Please, give it a try. Should be okay Americans versus AI Germans. Never tested as PBEM. Thanks Stoner
Gpig
I downloaded this last night and took a look at the map, and American forces. Looks cool. Did you base the map on a real location? It seems to have that feel to it. (I can't wait to get my men dirty in the "pig farm.") I'll take a stab at it this week (maybe). I was wondering about the "*" real life names involved. Like what feats of valour should be associated with these names? Gpig
David Stone
The map for the most part is artistic creation. Maj Glover Johns' book talks about the general terrain, the road, the dense bocage, the orchards, and the open areas in the map's NW corner. (The pig farm is fiction-- but I couldn't resist).
