Germany had Wehrmacht ,SS Fallschirmjager , Mountain , and Volkstrum .What will russia get .Guards ,Naval,partisan ,Airbourne,Nkvd .Does anyone know for sure? Here's what I remember, although the details are a little hazy... 1/ You get to select thet formation type at divisional level. So for the Sov's you have rifle, Tank, Mechanised, Partisan, Guards Tank, Guards Mechanised, maybe some otehrs. 2/ then from within that division you get to choose the available troop mix I think - infantry, armour, mechanised, etc. But what's available depends upon what type of division you're simulating. Olle Petersson Posted July 24, 2002 Share Posted July 24, 2002 Going by division is the way I usually try to pick units in CM. It's nice to have access to corps assets every now and then, though. (The corps may have other divison types as well as non divisional units.) German heavy tanks will be extremely rare, I expect, since they were non-divisional units...
