tar Posted October 3, 2002 Share Posted October 3, 2002 In last night's QB, I had a Russian armored car that ran out of MG ammunition. After that happened, it kept a targetting line on the enemy infantry and seemed to fire two more times. I certainly heard the MG fire. This occurred during the turn in which it ran out of ammunition. After that turn, everything worked as expected. Unfortunately, I only have a save file from after hitting "Done" on the playback. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Straif Posted October 4, 2002 Share Posted October 4, 2002 I understood that in CM definition "no ammunition" means actually that the unit ammunition level is very low and that they will fire only in self defense. I am talking here about personal weapon and MG ammunition which is not counted by a piece. However, every piece of gun-type ammunition, grenade, molotov coctail etc. is counted by the game engine and only this type of unit may really be "out of ammo" in the game.
