Road on fire ???

Recommended Posts

Got a great shot of my Flamethrower "Accidently" setting fire to a knocked out Panzer. He was actually Toasting some German troops about 20 yards away from the tank when it suddenly burst into flames. I also noticed that the road is actually on fire - does the game engine know that the knocked out tank would have fuel spilled all over the road and would catch fire with a suitable ignition source.

This game continuously suprizes me - It's just great !!

I once had a road catch on fire from HE fire!! It so happened that the road passed through a forest belt that formed a pocket where AFV's were entering the game. When the road ignited the AFV's were trapped in the pocket with no way out. They were useless:-(

Thanks for the help Mr. Compassion.

I actually do quite well with Flamethrowers - the trick is to keep them hidden by Sneaking and Crawling with a good stealth HQ. Then, when near a target do not try to get LOS, if LOS is established "Boom" the Flamethrower is instantly killed. Just use "Area Fire", the spread of flame and devestation is huge.

Attention future and current opponents - This information is not to be used against me.
