pathfinder
A river with an east/west bridge...hilly terrain....parallel to river is a steep ambankment with a railroad..... 1 group defends river bridge while other trys to capture. does the idea spark interest?? I set this up to see what the result would look like terrain-wise. It poses some rather challenges tactically IMHO. any suggestions on this ?? ------------------ unca pathy will show ya the path, if only he could find it himself! Gustang
Interest? Absolutely! Suggestions: Choke points for the attackers and a travel (time) penalty, maybe even exposure to defender artillery or pillboxes, to avoid them. Is the railroad on the defender's side? If so, maybe a light building as a station for another objective. A fiord for sneaky infantry only (for either side to use) with a covered approach (for extra sneakiness). Impassible terrain obstacles (cliffs are great!). And much, much more... [This message has been edited by Gustang (edited 08-09-2000).]
