PeterX
or fired upon by infantry weapons ! Infantry can take them out- bit it takes a while. With their high profiles and rubber tires, trucks in CM should be as fragile as porcelaine teacups. And has anyone noticed the impuissance of the ATR teams in the partisan battle 'A Deadly Affair(?)'. They won't target the damn trucks! It rendered that scenario artifically tough. Zebulon Pleasure Beast
I think you might have stumbled on one of the then-rare Iron Curtain experimental prototype vehicles. The models the Soviets fielded back then we're found to be rather unreliable, but the knowledge gained from these experiments proved invaluable later on. These we're the mobile coil generators, which we're fielded on trucks, due to limitations in applying the protective field on armoured vehicles caused by technical failures on the early models. The prototypes which we're tested on the field ended up being used to draw fire and as ramming vehicles.
