SteveL4
I started a quick battle this weekend and really liked the map I got. Is there a way to just save the map for future use? Thanks.

Monty's Double
I don't think you can Steve. It's definitely worth getting into the habit of creating a bunch of random maps in the editor, then importing them for QB's.

Panzer Leader
I think if you save the last turn of a battle, you can later use that map in a QB, with or without the troops present when you saved it. Alternatively, you can save it on the FIRST turn and reuse the map and/or troops over-and over again. HTH!

Cameroon
Yes, you can save the map. Any saved game can be used to import the map. So save the game under the name you want to remember it by, move the file into the "Quick Battle Maps" folder and there you go While you aren't concerned with importing troops at this time, the only time you'll have the option to import troops from a game is with the final autosave (when the AAR comes up). Madmatt
Just an added note. Any and all DAMAGE on the map is saved as well. So if on turn one of QB you notice that you really like the map, it's a good idea to go ahead and save it and put in somewhere safe, like the Quick Battle Map folder, BEFORE that 10,000 tube arty barrage comes in.
