Im playing an operation where a platoon of ISU-152s lost their platoon commander and they are now under the command influence of an SMG platoon HQ. Is this how it's supposed to work? Michael Emrys Posted October 15, 2002 Share Posted October 15, 2002 I noticed a similar thing the other day. I had a platoon of tanks and one independent tank. The independent tank would not subordinate to the tank platoon commander, which did not surprise me. But at one point it got close to an infantry platoon commander and subordinated to it. That surprised the heck out of me. I just wonder if it isn't some kind of carry over from the ability of infantry HQs to spot for vehicular mortars.
