Disaster
I spent more than a few hours building and testing a scenario and accidentally saved over the .cmb file while playing it! Now I can't open it in the scenario editor! At least I know why you should move your .cmb files from Saved Games to Scenarios but is there a way I can salvage my scenario? I can still reload the saved game but I'll be pretty depressed if I've lost it as a scenario to be edited. ------------------ --- I am Legend
Wild Bill Wilder
Not sure I understand what you did. Your scenario is in the scenario subdirectory, or should be. It should not have been in the saved games directory. When you designed it, did you not save in the scenarios subdirectory? If you didn't, and just left it in the saved games directory, you could not play it except as a saved game. And if you did that and saved over it again, it is probably lost. And that is a tragically hard way to learn to move it into the scenarios subdirectory as you build it. If that is the case, I'm sorry. Disaster
Yes, it's lost. Thanks for your reply, Bill. Oh well, I can do it again I suppose. ------------------ --- I am Legend
Maastrictian
The default local when you save a scenario in the scenario creation section is the saved games folder. This has not been a problem for me as I always save games in progress as foo01, foo02 etc. --Chris
Disaster
Yes, I was lazy about that default folder and hadn't been renaming my versions or moving them to the Scenarios folder
