xerxes
"1 if by land, 2 if by sea" Note: place the .cme file in the "Quick Battle Maps" directory, select load from file on the terrain selection screen of the QB generation. Import troops when asked. Make sure to send this text file (the one you're reading) to your opponent. Southern Region, Partisan Assault for QBs. Recommended Settings for a QB (with these settings the map and setup are reasonably balanced, other settings can cause severe imbalance): Import Troops August 43, Southern Region Force mix: infantry only (both sides) Nationality: German[infantry, security], Partisan[infantry] Quality: German-Low, Partisan-regular Purchase Units: Human (If playing the ai have it autopick) Fitness: German-weakened, Partisan-fit Casualties: German-10% [rear guard units were often depleted], Partisan-0% Ammunition: both-full Type: Allied Attack [if attacking the AI make this an allied probe] Force Size: 300 Handicap: Axis -30% [if attacking the AI make this axis -0%, +1 computer experience] Variable Rarity Turns: 22 (variable) Time: Night warm clear Wind: still Partisans were a constant threat to the German supply network. This scenario depicts a company strength attack by partisans on a supply depot in a small village. The German sector commander is aware of likely partisan action and is prepared. The setup zones are designed for a QB so that each player can do some unusual things with the initial placement of forces. I recommend that neither player look at the their opponents setup zones before they pick their forces (you should definitely look at your own setup zones). It's much more interesting to not know exactly where your opponent might be, at least I think so. The German player units get placed in some unusual locations to make sure to check if you think you're missing a unit. Also, both sides have some special troops that are imported with the map. The location of the 20mm AA guns is identified by a map landmark. This simulates the knowledge that the Partisans were able to acquire about defensive obstacles before they conducted their attacks. The Partisans have also received information that there is at least one early war model tank in the village. Note: Because this is a QB the friendly map edges are german:west and soviet:east. Your units will prefer to retreat towards the friendly map edge and all artillery patterns will be oriented on the east/west dimension. This makes a good scenario against the AI (the AI must be German) or against another player. xerxes
There's one small error in the readme. When attacking the ai, the force size should be 400, not 300. The depot currently doesnt' allow editing so I can't change it.
