Partisans were a constant threat to the German supply network. This scenario depicts a company strength attack by partisans on a supply depot in a small village. The German sector commander is aware of likely partisan action and is prepared.

The setup zones are designed for a QB so that each player can do some unusual things with the initial placement of forces. I recommend that neither player look at the their opponents setup zones before they pick their forces (you should definitely look at your own setup zones). It's much more interesting to not know exactly where your opponent might be, at least I think so. The German player units get placed in some unusual locations to make sure to check if you think you're missing a unit. Also, both sides have some special troops that are imported with the map.

The location of the 20mm AA guns is identified by a map landmark. This simulates the knowledge that the Partisans were able to acquire about defensive obstacles before they conducted their attacks. The Partisans have also received information that there is at least one early war model tank in the village.

Note: Because this is a QB the friendly map edges are german:west and soviet:east. Your units will prefer to retreat towards the friendly map edge and all artillery patterns will be oriented on the east/west dimension.

This makes a good scenario against the AI (the AI must be German) or against another player.

Enjoy!
