General Rommel
Was Chance Encounter an easy scenario? i found it to be hard as the germans but eventually found the way. Sit in the woods and wait. Was it hard as the Americans? I found it to be easy as them only losing less than 20 men. What was it like for yall? Ezmartini
At first, I found it semi-challenging, but now I can toast both sides, though I am better as the Allies. I've kind of perfected this and VoT because they're the only demo ones available.
Monte99
I had to play it twice to achieve a total American victory -- which I acknowledge is cheating. It seemed fairly challenging both times, though. I've not played the German side. ------------------ "Arms are my ornaments, warfare my repose." - Don Quixote
109 Gustav
ANY scenario is easy the second time around. When you get the full game, try Parker's Crossroads. The first time I tried it as Amis, I ended up with the toughest fight in my CM career. I'm proud to say I pulled off a draw, with a grand total of about six men left in fighting condition. The second time, I got a tactical victory, with my men in much better condition. The second time around, you know what the enemy has, and how to counter it. You know the direction they're going to attack from or where their defenses are, so you can flank them or position your forces better. ------------------ Well my skiff's a twenty dollar boat, And I hope to God she stays afloat. Loki
Shouldn't this be in the scenario disscussion and not the tips? I have played it but don't want to spoil it for anyone.
Gremlin
If you get tired with a scenario, set it so the AI is free to place units, and also give the AI an experience bonus. ------------------ War is cruel and you cannot refine it. --Sherman
