Alan Murphy
I'd like to know how to make the AI player move faster & more coherently toward its objective. I'm sick of designing scenarios and when I test them, the AI player sits lethargically doing nothing, the human player (me) can easily take key ground and then whack the AI. I noticed in the Mortain scenario the AI had to exit and seemed to move more quickly. Is that the trick? If so, are there others. Any help desperately welcomed. GonzoAttacker
There is a scenario design trick to add to this. What you do is reverse the map edges, meaning start the units on opposite sides of edges designed. Ezample, if you assigned default edges, allied West and axis east, you set up forces on opposite edges. This works well in scenarios designed as attacks, advances, and ones with exit zones.
