Voodoochile
I've been playing some scenarios where vehicles have to stick to the roads most of the time. Lots of vehicles + winding roads = a migraine from organizing convoys and having to plot movement orders for each individual unit! Micromanagement hell! Despite this, I did enjoy said scenarios because they presented tactical challenges that get the gray matter working. I was thinking, wouldn't it be great if the next CM had something like a "follow vehicle" command for vehicles? Just plot a movement order for the lead vehicle (along a road, perhaps) and then issue "follow" orders to the rest of the convoy. Result: the whole convoy would then follow the same waypoints. Is this possible? "Blitzkrieg" by CDV had something like this and it would be great if CM had it too.
Sergei
Expect this thread to be locked soon by the Mad One... btw. convoy move or such has already been suggested on several instances. Welcome onboard, anyway. "Guys, I keep saying this, but people aren't getting the message. It is too EARLY to begin dicsusions on CMX2. When you see a dedicated CMX2 forum opening up, then it will be time. Madmatt"
