Axe Phoenix Posted October 15, 2002 Share Posted October 15, 2002 i may have asked this one here before, but i havent worked it out yet so here goes . . i connect to the net via lan, and a piece of software called proxy+ it supports the SOCKS protocol and remapped ports. is there anyway i can tell cmbo/bb that the connection isnt local, and to look at the proxy for redirection ? 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I'm guessing you're having a hosting problem, in which case it's probably because your proxy isn't forwarding packets to your machine. You'd have to see if it's possible to forward certain port numbers to your machine. I believe CMBO uses port 7023. Don't know what CMBB uses.
