easytarget
we'll need some info about your system to diagnose what's going on do you know how to find what video card and drivers you're running for it? right click on your desktop and click on properties, a menu will come up, click on the settings tab and then click on advanced, you can thenk click on adapter and then the properties button and finally on the driver button this will show you which driver you're running for your video card (and which video card) in order to keep this relatively simple, let's just start with that info and work from there btw, if the game is coming up in a resolution of 640x480 let us know that too
AMF
easytarget thanks for reply. might have solved this with a big maybe. this is brain surgery for a middle-aged man like myself. anyway, upgraded (?)my nvidia to 29.42 and it is now working. did i get lucky? set resolution to 1024 768 but haven't a clue how or why i did this, don't know if that made a difference. played out 1 battle, seemed to work ok
easytarget
well, sounds like you stumbled upon the soln to your problem then good job - got it diagnosed and fixed on the first try and you could go on up to the 30.87's if you wanted to - not sure if it would boost performance a lot though and i'm of the mindset that once you get something to work, there's no reason to keep trying to "fix it"
