beady Posted January 2, 2004 Share Posted January 2, 2004 As long as I'm still thinking about music (see the Lili Marlene thread), does anyone have any leads to "Waltzing Matilda" and/or "Pack Up Your Troubles in Your Old Kit Bag"? I spent all yesterday downloading (on a 56K modem!) and listening to some thoroughly horrible versions of "Matilda." These ranged all the way from New Christy Minstrels-type, screw-around-with-the-melody versions, to a lounge-lizard jazz rendition. I figure a good CMAK version would probably sound like it was being sung in a bar (or at least around a campfire).
